We pointed out that she ordered different sides and they came back with only one of the sides. She got 2 totally different sides and never got her soup. My daughter chose fries and Mac & cheese as her options and also added soup to her dinner. Ordered the crab cake sandwich that came with old bay chips, crab cake platter that came with 2 sides of your choice, and the kids ordered the Asian tuna that came with 2 side options. I would highly recommend eating at Henlopen and understand the hype but would also have loved more space between tables.Ĭame here because of the high reviews. I also understand that the restaurant industry has been hit hard by covid and that probably contributes to how close the tables are but figured I'd mention it in case your comfort level is not where mine is. I prefer to still eat outside when possible due to covid so this was a bit of a downer but looking at where the restaurant is located, I completely understand this is due to a lack of sidewalk space. A few things to note: outdoor seating is only available for parties of two and the indoor seating is packed quite full. All of the food was amazing and we completely cleared all of our plates. We ordered the oyster sampler (one of each oyster), the jerk grilled rockfish with fries and mashed potatoes, the lobster roll with mac and cheese, the soft shell crab, and the bouillabaisse. Our waiter was attentive and everyone who brought our food out was so friendly. Our water cups were rarely below the half point. The service and the food were amazing here. They make use of yelp waitlists and it's super convenient. We went again on our last night closer to 530 and were able to get a table around 615. We went around 730 the first night and they had already filled up for the night. I don't know anyone that is as great of a networker and writer as Peachy, nevermind that she is upstanding and always good for her word.Henlopen was the most in demand restaurant during our rehoboth trip. She was my second patient ever in 2006 when I opened my dental practice I was one of the first sponsors on Whom You Know and the first Mover and Shaker featured in 2009 and have worked with her continuously since. When we played together on the BC Alumni softball team in Central Park years ago, she mentioned she could not find a great dentist in Manhattan and could often be found networking on her phone in the outfield hiding from the ball. "As you know from my past features, Peachy Deegan and I were in the same class at Boston College prior to either of us becoming entrepreneurs.
